GOLDEN HILL GC

It was a cool breezy day with some freshly aerated greens.  Due to the reseeding of the fairways, carts were cart path only, so the day was also one of endurance and strategy (ie. play your tee shot near the cart path), and putting prowess.  There were a hardy twenty of us surviving Monarch Bay!  In spite of the conditions, there were four birdies shot on the course.  Congrats to Lester (5th hole), Garvin (9th hole & 12th hole) and Kevin (10th hole) for their birdies.  All three flights were tightly contested with tiebreakers used in all three flights.  Congratulations to all of the winners!  Special congrats to Lester Johe who didn't let the conditions affect his golf game.  Les shot a net 66!
