Here are the results of the Alameda tournament on May 17th. The weather was hot and so were the golfers as scores in general were low compared to the last two tournaments. In all, there were 9 birdies scored and 9 scores that were in the net 60s. Congrats to Duane Ong for shooting the day's best score, a gross 79 (net 64).
In the tie breaker between Billy Shim and Lester Johe, Billy scored a better net score over the last six holes to edge him out for second place.
This tournament also marked the first "Senior" flight in the history of Golden Hill and 18 young at heart members played for the honor of being the first winner of this flight. The honor this year goes to Art Wong with a net 67.
